The Project Management Institute Financial Services Specific Interest Group (FSSIG) was formed to serve its members within the Financial Services Industry. Our mission is to establish and promote the use of project management in all financial services institutions with a focus on providing the knowledge and expertise to effectively manage change.

Professional Development Unit (PDU) Qualifying Activities/Category 2: Professional Activities or Self-directed Learning
- 2B Author or co-author of an article pertaining to project management published in a non-refereed journal (e.g. PM Network®): 15 PDUs per article (author), 10 PDUs per article (co-author)
- 2C Speaker/Teacher on project management topic at a conference, symposium, workshop or formal course: 10 PDUs per activity
- 2D Speaker on a project management topic at PMI Component meeting (Chapter meeting)
