PMI Community Components:

Every day around the world, PMI’s 500,000 members and credential holders are advancing the practice of project management, both in their workplace and as active volunteer members of the PMI community components.

These components, organized around a specific interest or geographic region, spread awareness of the profession and PMI by reaching out to local governments and organizations, hosting events or cam boys seminars for local practitioners and providing opportunities to learn, network and earn Professional Development Units (PDUs) toward maintaining their credentials.

1: PMI Chapters

Currently, there are more than 250 PMI Chapters in more than 180 countries. Chapter membership provides an invaluable connection to a local network of professional expertise. Members also receive support and opportunities to meet with peers from various industries through meetings, activities and educational programs.

2: PMI Specific Interest Groups (SIGs)

PMI Specific Interest Groups (SIGs) help jasmin live members with common interests and industries to come together and share ideas, challenges and concerns across geographical boundaries. Through networking, developing technical papers, teleconferences and collaborative work on special projects, members have a unique opportunity to learn and grow.
